The MRCOOL® Signature Series TruInverter™ 48K Heat Pump Condenser delivers powerful, energy-efficient comfort for larger homes and high-demand living spaces. Designed for reliable year-round performance, it provides a 18 SEER2 rating and a 8.5 HSPF2-4 heating efficiency rating, maintaining precise indoor temperatures while using significantly less energy than traditional systems-helping lower monthly utility bills and long-term operating costs.
At its core is TruInverter™ variable-speed technology, which continuously adjusts compressor output to match real-time demand. This results in smoother temperature control, improved humidity management, quieter operation, reduced system wear, and longer equipment life compared to single- or two-stage systems. To ensure a faster and more efficient setup, this unit is designed to work with MRCOOL® No-Vac® Quick Connect® line sets, which are pre-charged and eliminate the need for system evacuation. This compatibility significantly saves on installation time and labor by removing the need for specialized vacuum pumps or refrigerant charging in the field.
The condenser is factory-charged with next-generation R-454B refrigerant, an environmentally responsible option that delivers excellent heat transfer with a lower global warming potential. This supports current and future efficiency standards while simplifying installation and reducing labor and handling risks. Built for quiet performance, the system operates at approximately 70 decibels, with a sound-dampening top that minimizes noise without restricting airflow-ideal for homes with patios, outdoor living areas, or nearby neighbors.
Durability is reinforced with a steel louver coil guard and wire fan discharge grille to protect against debris and harsh weather. A service-friendly design with sweat-connection service valves and an accessible gauge port makes installation and maintenance faster and easier.
