What happens if I oversize my system?
An oversized unit short-cycles: it cools the air fast but never dehumidifies properly, wears components early, and wastes energy. Sizing to your actual load matters more than buying big.
Does ceiling height change the size I need?
Yes - BTU load scales with air volume, not just floor area. Our calculator adjusts for ceilings above the standard 8 feet.
Can one system handle multiple rooms?
